Tiny navy of expedition kayaks
Our stable and safe expedition kayaks are ideal to discover lonely islets, silent coves, shady shores, labyrinthine archipelagos, and crystal clear open waters of Lake Puula. Our kayaks, designed for open water paddling, are equipped with a rudder, and two storage spaces for excursion equipment.
Price list
Prices include, in addition to a kayak, a paddle, a life jacket, and a sprayskirt:
One day (24 hours) 50 euros
Two days (48 hours) 90 euros
Three days (72 hours) 120 euros
Four days 150 euros
Five days 180 euros
Six days 200 euros
One week 220 euros

The heart of Puula
Puula Kayak is located at a tiny beach called Kukkarohiekka, Simpiänniemi, nearby Simpiänselkä, the heart of Puula. The drive from the village center of Kangasniemi to Kukkarohiekka is about 18 kms (20 mins).
Network of excursion harbours
Within a radius of only 5 kms from Kukkarohiekka, you can find 7 excursion harbours with campfire sites, tents sites, woodsheds, and outhouses/dry toilets. In addition, some of these harbours are equipped with a barbecue shed, or some kind of lean-to or hut. However, there are no cottages nor lodges, so it’s highly recommended to carry own tent or hammock.
Fire is a good servant but a nasty master
Please remember, making fire is only allowed at campfire sites with extreme caution. During forest fire warning, making fire is strictly prohibited. A map showing the warning in effect, can be found on the website of Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI). On the same website, you can check a weather forecasting, if needed.
Pack it in, pack it out
It is equally important to pick up any trash found in nature. Whatever you carry in, carry out. It’s our environmental and ethical responsibility.
